WSA Engineering Ltd. (est. 1997) is a progressive geotechnical and civil engineering firm with a materials testing lab located in Castlegar, British Columbia. The company principals, Mr. Bryan E. Woods, P. Eng. and Mr. Dan Sahlstrom, P. Eng., have been providing consulting services throughout British Columbia since 1989. The firm provides a wide range of geotechnical engineering and geoscience expertise in the resource and construction sectors.

The company maintains a core of professionals and technicians with a variety of experiences. Our professionals have a strong engineering background, particularly in the fields of geotechnical and civil engineering. The firm has a comprehensive understanding of current technologies with academic and practical backgrounds, which enable us to provide innovative, practical and cost effective solutions to our clients.

To ensure quality services for our clients, our geotechnical engineering and geosciences specialties provide expertise in soil and rock stability, road construction and supervision, geology and terrain mapping. Our civil engineering group provides expertise in municipal water and sewer systems, subdivision design, pumps and process equipment, project management, and coordinating of other professional disciplines. Our structural engineers serve the residential, commercial, and industrial markets. In addition, the company maintains active memberships in technical and professional associations, keeping abreast of technical advances through continuing education.

We have a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements and have successfully dealt with all levels of government.
